The Challenge

Bathing the bedridden patient is a major problem, with multiple issues.

Patients with long-term illnesses are often denied the basic health and life enhancing benefits of daily bathing for a number of reasons:

  •  Transporting patients to a bath or shower risks injury, and often cannot be done safely by the caregiver.
  •  Sponge baths are awkward and ineffective in keeping the patient clean.
  •  Cross-contamination is a major concern in common bathing areas.

Victims of disaster,  military personnel, and those throughout the world who don’t have ready access to water and power sources are also beneficiaries of this system.

The Solution

The Nurses Bath Disposable System addresses all of these issues by providing a fully functional bathing area that can be established on a patient’s own bed, and requires no more effort from the caregiver than changing a sheet under the patient.

In addition, this small, low-cost and extremely portable system can be used in any environment (disaster relief stations, military field hospitals, remote locations) to provide more healthy living conditions.

Whether used in a building or in a field location, the Nurses Bath system allows caregivers to easily bathe, clean wounds, safely remove toxic waste fluids and generally increase both the comfort and safety of patients. The resulting reduction in time and effort required to deal with bedridden or other immobile patients also improves overall medical treatment standards by freeing caregivers to handle other tasks and see more patients.
